Since Arsene Wenger usually celebrates football with skill and
imagination, it’s a surprise that he has claimed that Nani’s ball
juggling during our recent FA Cup win had ‘humiliated’ his players
– nothing to do with the 4-0 scoreline then?
Nani was actually playing keepy-up with the ball in an attempt
to lose his marker but was mercilessly taken down by Matthew
Flamini, lectured by Gilberto and then kicked off the ball by the
Arsenal captain, William Gallas. And even Fergie is said to have
told him to cut the exhibition stuff out.
Should Nani be given the chance to express himself on the pitch
and excite the crowd or were his tricks unsporting?
