Alan Hutton has rejected an £8million move to Tottenham Hotspur
Football Club, as rumours of a counter-bid from Old Trafford
emerge.
The Londoners have had a bid accepted by Rangers for the Scottish
international fullback, who has been superb for both club and
country throughout the first half of the season.
However, the 23-year-old has rejected the move to London, as he
waits to hear if interest from Manchester United, who are on the
lookout for a long-term replacement for Gary Neville, bears
fruit.
Sir Alex Ferguson revealed he was impressed with Hutton during
Scotland's failed attempt to qualify for Euro 2008, and he must now
decide whether to follow up his interest with a firm bid.
