Should MU play a nominal 4-2-3-1 formation like Roma?

Marco_Simone SG

Since they dont have a classic No 9,instead they have quite a few trequaristas such as Rooney,Tevez.

The "1" in Roma's formation is occupied by Totti and we all know that he's not a true blue centre forward.

So the four attackers would be Rooney,Ronaldo,Anderson and Nani. Rooney as the "1" but he is always swapping positions with the other 3 attackers...

So Anderson will play behind Rooney and Ronaldo and Nani as wingers?

Liddat must sacrifice tevez for carrick…see wad fergie wants lo..

Marco_Simone SG

The defensive midfield pivots would be Carrick and Hardgreaves.

Ya,Ronaldo,Nani on the right and left respectively and they would swap positions frequently.Anderson is nominally in the hole.

Actually,Roma's formation is very fluid and it involves constant swapping of position between their 4 attackers.

Yea...I like Roma's style of play...

But the problem is u need 4 attackers fit la Mr. Green

Marco_Simone SG

Didnt I say Rooney,Nani,Anderson and Ronaldo?

Also have Scholes,Giggs and Saha as backup right?

MidnightK SG

NO!
they should stick to their 4-4-2 formation..
2 wingers playing wide, 2 cm, one attacking one defensive.. and two full backs overlapping to support..

I always believe Wenger's Philosophy: Never Change a Winning Team.

Cheers.
