Giggs won't need reminding of his first trip to Anfield as a United
player at the tender age of 18, when he and his team-mates were
also battling for the league championship. Liverpool won 2-0 and as
Giggs describes, the home fans were not sympathetic to his woes:
"After the game, a couple of Liverpool fans asked me for my
autograph," he said. "I obliged, only for them to tear it up in
front of me. The manager always reminds me of that incident to
motivate me when we play Liverpool."[/b]
also when alan smith broke his leg and the ambulance was
heckled..
there are always these bad sheeps around lah..
one thing I can't take it is that some local liverpool fans deny
this fact and think liverpool are all angels..
