Gary Neville will not feature for Manchester United's
reserve team when they take on Liverpool on Thursday
night.
United boss Sir Alex Ferguson revealed earlier this week that,
following a fortnight's full training, Neville was looking at a
return in Thursday night's reserve-team clash against Liverpool's
second string.
However, the England international full-back is deemed to be not
quite ready and, rather rush him back and run the risk of suffering
new problems, Neville will wait until the Wigan reserve-team
encounter in just under two weeks' time before allowing him to
play.
