one thing kept ringing in my ears -> AC Milan coach "mufc is
great team, but everyone in europe knows how they going to play"
and this led to this topic.
Key is -> Are we that predictable??
rem, the last time we played milan, they clamped down on ronaldo,
and that really "cut" off one of our impt attacks.. showing their
superior midfield strength.
if we got a target man, alternatively we can pump long to him and
then come in with our mobile attack force. we can pin the backline
where we want, and then allow rooney to run around the hole..
yes, last season, we did well, but we got fantastic contributions
from everywhere else.. but this season, we already see how other
teams are reacting and packing the final 1/3, restricting the
fast/short passing that MUFC likes.
my point is that we should be able to stamp our play, but we should
be able to react and workaround. multi-dimensional..
just my two cents worth..
