SIR ALEX FERGUSON was happy to see his new superstars
become housemates - but had no idea they were hatching plans to
team up with a group of hookers.
The Manchester United manager was delighted when Cristiano Ronaldo
offered to take new signings Nani and Anderson under his wing.
Fergie thought it was a "fantastic" gesture to help the £30million
imports feel at home by letting them stay at his luxurious pad and
help them learn English. He even told United's official monthly
magazine Inside United of his admiration for Portuguese star
Ronaldo.
Sir Alex gushed: "What we're seeing now is the maturity he is
bringing to the club. Anderson and Nani are staying with him - it's
a fantastic thing to open your doors to help them settle in, until
they learn the language and learn to look after themselves."
But, although the Reds boss has been left red-faced as the club
reel from details of Ronaldo's steamy exploits with four high-class
hookers, a club insider has suggested they will get off with a mere
rollicking from the boss.
The club insider said: "No doubt he'll have a word or three in the
lads' ears. "But everyone knows they're single lads and, although
it wasn't the best publicity, they'll probably escape with a
typical Fergie rollicking then be told to get on with what they do
best - play brilliant football."
