Anderson savours 'dream move'
Anderson admits he could not reject the chance to join Manchester
United and was always confident he would receive a work
permit.
United have spent in the region of £17million to bring the
Brazilian midfielder to Old Trafford from Portuguese champions
Porto.
The club had to appeal to secure a work permit for the teenager,
who was never worried he would miss out on his 'dream move'.
With clearance to play for the Red Devils next season, Anderson is
relishing the chance to line up alongside Cristiano Ronaldo.
"I am my own man and do not want comparison with players like
Ronaldinho because he is the king," said Anderson in the Daily
Star.
"I am still very young, and have a huge desire and hunger to play
for Manchester United.
"I never really thought there was a problem in me getting
permission to play for United.
"The directors at United always made me feel confident that the
move would go through and said there was nothing to worry about,
although there was an appeal.
"Now I am looking forward to arriving and playing without
fear.
"This is a dream move, one I could not reject. The chance to play
with Cristiano Ronaldo was enough to bring me to United. He is a
worldwide star.
"I can't wait to set up a goal for him. He is a spectacular player
who has improved so much since he has been at United and I want to
do the same."
