Anelka next on United's list

I agree with CK; just another way of throw smoke while they attempt to get another prolific striker!

I watched yesterday's Portugal vs Belgium and Emile Mpenza impressed me. Despite not being a prolific striker, he makes it up with his high workrate, great technique and physical play.

He could very well blossomed at Old Trafford but too bad la, he's with City. Wink

Cheers.

Anelka's makes Fergie plea

NICOLAS ANELKA has admitted he would love to join Manchester United. Rumours are circulating that the Bolton striker nicknamed Le Sulk is on the Premiership champions shopping list.

Anelka, 28, bagged his third straight Euro 2008 qualifying goal for France in the 2-0 win over Ukraine on Saturday. And he said: There has been no contact with any other club for my signature, none at all.

But if there was then, of course, I couldnt say no to a club like United. I have to find out what Bolton want to do first. I dont want to leave and its their decision.

well, to me, he is quite a technical gifted player who is a proven goal-scorer.

given how MUFC's fluid game-plan, he should be able to benefit if he joins.

However, it does mean the end for Ole, Richardson..

Next season, would be Giggs and Scholes...

And then GVN & EVS..

But I still think the youngsters need a baptism of fire like a Milan game to find their feet..
