I just came back from rounding Sim Lim Square today. And I just
noticed the price for dreamweaver - it was like .. *gasp* $599
dollars, close to six hundred actually, and this is Sim Lim Square,
just imagine if it were sold any where else.
Anyway, My qualm is this, Diablo 2 also came out, and at Sim Lim,
it was sold at around $49 dollars which made me think, why the
obscene amount of difference?
Firstly, Diablo 2 took longer and needed more programming whilst
Dreamweaver is like an update from the original.
I know that I probably sound naggy right now, but this situation is
really unfair to the home users that wish to experiment with the
different type of software that is available. I mean yes, there
*are* 30 day evaluation program but it's just the situation that
will bring us back to square one. Eventually, home user would have
to pay teh full price if they wish to keep the software
program.
Sigh~~ And and they want us to become a Lemming overnight
...Grumble grumble
