I remember TNP talking about how much Gary is a nice and cool
guy in person. Both times it was a Liverpool fan that went to
interview Gary Neville and both times, the reporters came back
saying how warm and friendly he is and all.
I can't remb who the reporters were, but for one of them, the
interview was originally supposed to be after training at Man U's
training ground (wherever that is). But because Fergie, being the
master flogger of the whip, went overtime into training. And the
interview couldn't carry on because there was still some team event
or something.
Anyway, Gary Neville invited the TNP reporter and his colleague to
his house later in the day to his house. It was a friendly
interview with his gf present and this was a guy who had just had
an extended training session or something.
True that Gary had to play nice being a professional footballer and
all, but what I remembered most was the article was written by a
Liverpool fan who had nothing but praise for Gary Neville, which
totally surprised me.
