the Bear SG heard over the radio that the ref disallowed a goal by Lille.. must go watch the highlights tonight.. anyway, the rules allow for quick free-kicks if the ref allows it... usually refs do not if the defence is still trying to sort themselves out.. also, Lille have themselves to blame if they do not put a man about 3 yards from the ball in order to stall the other team, buying time for the defence to settle... most teams do that now...
