And already, they are targetting MUFC's potential signings..

Well, I am unsure how RA is taking this considering 150M is small change to him...

But hopefully, it can kick Glaciers into some action, and put some real money where the rubber meets the road...

Given Rafael Benitez's track record at transfer, will he finally put the final piece in the puzzle??

And with strong backings at Chelsea and Liverpool, will this spell the end for MUFC's transfer policy??

Ah Ben have learned his lesson to be cheapo after buying expensive flop.

So, he will most probably build up the youth squad.

Liverpool will be using the money to build the new stadium.

Therefore, there will not be any big signings for Liverpool on the coming summer.

Also, it is not known whether the sugar daddies have the capacity to spend.

Maybe they are there to earn a quick buck.

i think Glazer's hands are tied in a certain manner. The 150 m warchest is staggering.

Don't forget, Man U's acquisition is financed by debt and Glazer betted on the future earnings of Man U as a successful team. The amt of cash available to SAF is very much smaller compared to the 150m that Benetiz reportedly gonna have. I think SAF is probably gonna have 25 to 30m max.

But looking on the other side, Benetiz will sweat now because the expectations will be very high on him. Likewise, the fringe players in Liverpool will also sweat becos they will be on the way out.

In my opinion, Chelsea's big spending days are over, its going to be Liverpool next. It remains to be seen how Benetiz make use of the money. It was rumored, Torres will be coming. Who's next? Ronaldinho? With new US funds, Gerrard will stay for sure, cos Liverpool can match any wage promise dangled by Madrid or even Chelsea.

Hopefully Beneitz don't go buy another Shevchenko (but as a Man U fan, I hope he does buy 10 Shevchenkos) haha....

they started well with figo and zidane. beckham and fatboy ronaldo were flops. michael owen was worse. woodgate and samuel, though not world class players, flopped too.... $$ isnt everything.

Pool can learn from Bolton, they buy players who can fit into their system.
I look at the tiger beer adv think the manager also need to change.
Just like chelsea, pool can buy players and build around Stevie.
They need 4 defender,1 DM, 1 striker. 1 Winger.- almost whole team need to change cos their defence really sux.

acutally, I feel RB did the right thing with the transfer.

last season, Liverpool was sound at the back, but poor in front.
despite having the most shots on goal, they were not as successful.

so this season they got bellamy, a goal scorer with pace, got pennant to put those crosses in.

And he tried to get quality youth in.

I think his target was spain where he came from.

but now with a bigger warchest, maybe, he can do better cause now he can get the top players..

Ronaldo nt flop la.. 1st 2 season he did well for them. owen oso quite afew coming off the bench. its just that raul always gets to play even though his overall play not tat gd. The biggest flop i think shall be ex chairman, too much sacking n appointed all the wrong managers.

The only downfall is the sacking of then manager, Vicente Del Bosque and Fernando Hierro, and the selling of players such as Makelele and not buying replacement for him.
