if Barca wants Ronaldo, should we ask for Ronaldinho ?

if barca change ronaldo for messi, then I would question their business sense. but if MUFC were to let him go, we should get top $$ for him..

red_amoeba SG

as above – if Ronaldo wants to leave & Barca wants, should Man U ask for Ronaldinho in return? Or Decco?

tarcki SG

messi plus cash... Very Happy

CKeer SG

I think it's quite impossible to happen unless the rumours are true - Ronaldinho is leaving Barca.

Cheers.

Man Utd's Ronaldo demands £160,000-a-week
tribalfooball.com - February 11, 2007

Manchester United winger Cristiano Ronaldo is demanding a staggering £8.3 million-a-year to extend his contract at Old Trafford.

Ronaldo's representatives want to seal a deal that would guarantee the Portuguese superstar £160,000 A WEEK. A source close to Ronaldo confirmed to the News of the World: "There are lots of meetings taking place regarding Cristiano's new contract.

"But if United say he's the best player in the world they have to give him the best salary in the world."

Barcelona are ready to pounce.

The European champs are being backed in the market by Sheik Mansour Al-Balawi, who owns Saudi Arabian club Al-Ittihad.

He confirmed "I will do what is necessary to help Barcelona sign a great player like Cristiano."

he is asking for more than wad saf is earning??

he really should come to hhis senses. who stood by him when ppl everywhere were jeering at him??

First of all we don't even know this news is true or not so we should not take it too serious or even comment on it yet until we see it in the major newspapers, football sites or Man utd home page then we can confirm it...

Anyway, the Man u board of directors and Fergie will know whats best... So we shouldn't think too much of it and keep to the TS question would be more practical... Mr. Green

Bring E'eto better. Or Messi!!! Laughing

imprezaWRXSTi22B SG

ronaldo can leave for all he wants. he nv won anything yet and he thinks he is worth 160k a week. thats provided the rumours are true. which usually arent.

messi would be good. ronaldinho too.

Spica SG

yes yes...sign Messi!! Only he can replace Ronaldo and possibly even do better! Very Happy

zocoss SG

I doubt very much so... Messi has never play in the EPL yet... and he will take a year or 2 to get him use to the toughness... Another problem is Messi like Giggs and Robben, don't seem very strong and will get injure easily.

Ronaldinho on the other hand, seems a good idea... Mr. Green

tarcki SG

Ronaldinho may oso take a yr or 2 to get used of EPL. by the time he will already be 28 or 29, juz like another veron. Very Happy

Tribalfootball news means no news Laughing

2 yrs worth it for me lah. Razz

Besides you got mention Giggs. I can't help but add in more. Laughing

Giggs never use physical approach to get pass people alot of times. He used more of finese and skills to dazzle and evade. Since Messi is still young, there is no guarantee he could grow big and be muscular like Ronaldinho, but time is on his side compared to Ronny.

But then hor... Lets sae Ronaldo is sold to Barca... then MIRACULOUSLY Messi is swapped. SAF groomed Messi to be another top player which attracts many club. Then this will repeat again. AND Messi is more loyal to Barca in da 1st place so...... Neutral
