Giuseppe Rossi has revealed his delight at sealing his loan move
to Parma.
The Manchester United starlet has recently returned from a less
than inspiring spell at Newcastle, which saw him rarely used.
Sir Alex Ferguson has now granted Parma's request - with the
promise that the exciting 19-year-old will see regular first team
action, which was not forthcoming at St James' Park.
"When a player is loaned, he hopes to be able to play," Rossi told
the news conference to confirm his signature.
"Here [Parma] there is the possibility. I'm in a moment in my
career, where I must play.
"I'm here to show I can do good things. From my side, I'll give the
best to help the team."
Rossi, who left Parma as a youngster to move to Old Trafford,
admitted he was looking forward to his first taste of Serie A
action.
"When you have trained with big champions like Scholes, Rooney or
Cristiano Ronaldo, you earn a lot," he said.
"Since I left Parma I've learnt a lot. I've played about 20 matches
with Manchester and it has been a good experience.
"It's a different football, based more on the physical, whilst here
in Italy it is based especially on technique."
