Calm down guys... if you look at it realistically it wasn't that bad... Newcastle was a strong team at their home ground winning their last 5 so naturally it wasn't going to be easy.

To be fair, we should be quite happy with the results after all, 4 matches in 10 days and united got 10 out of a possible 12 points should be consider good cos it could be worst.

Had scholes not been able to play yesterday, it could have been worst. So relax, It was the Christmas & New Year period and i don't think any team manager to win all their matches...

Scholes first goal was just amazing, i don't even know how he got the shot away in the first place when there were 3, 4 defenders around him and they were all so close... His shot was so good that the newcastle keeper whom i feel is one of the better keepers in the EPL, didn't even move his feet...

That goal brought united back to be fair or united could have even lose this... Newcastle's first goal was very good but i felt Scholes's was better, cos it was more difficult to execute as there were so many around trying to block him. Razz

indeed, one of those days when you had plenty of chances and you didn;t convert them, we pay the price at the nend of 90mins.. i’m just frustrated that both Park and Rooney missed a couple of chances but more so for rooney who just seem to score when he should like last season, i hope hes saving the best for the next couple of matchs as we are really gonna need them .

It is better for Chavski to win the league than Newcastle to play in CCC next year.

giggs and saha also failed to score, one on one shoot straight to the goalie for saha. giggs also bad miss when face with the goalie, lack of composure in front of goal.

fergie will do well to ask them to practise shooting and do one on one with the goalie in training. also do some pk and fk in training as well

no such thing as better. to win the league, you have to be better than other teams and finished top come may.

if chelsea were to win the epl title again, that means one thing, they are the best. if man u wins the title, that means they are the best and the most consistent, no 2 ways abt it.

now is only the halfway point, abeit man u leading by 7 points and chelsea with a game in hand. its still very early to say who is going to win the title.
injuries, suspension and loss of form from now till may can yet wreck the good work done by both teams.

Villa will be aiming for a win, they wouldnt want for a loss, thats for sure, after 8 matches without a win, but they have to fight tooth and nail for the win over chelsea.

deep down, even if draw, i think O' Neil wont be so disappointed.
