Ok guys, here's an improvement.

From this match onwards, try to give points for players who are playing.

For example if Rooney is playing well to you, rate him. 7.5/10 or 8/10. If he's not playing well then give him lower points.

Enjoy!

Matt Le Tissier previews this weekends games starting with Saturday's Manchester derby. He expects United to recover from their midweek exertions to win City.

And then on Super Sunday, he fears for Arsenal as they make the short trip to Chelsea...

I don't think the Benfica game will have bothered Manchester United too much.

They are used to doing things the hard way and although a week off before the derby would have been great, getting through that Champions League group in top spot might actually be a nice little confidence booster. Not that they need it against City.

The formbook, as we always say, does go out of the window in these derbies, but even taking that into account, Stuart Pearce's side don't have enough quality to trouble this United side, particularly at Old Trafford.

The fact that Chelsea have won back-to-back titles has clearly got Fergie fired up and the possibility of moving clear of them this weekend will have the same effect on his players.

It's hard to know how Stuart Pearce approaches this. City have such a bad away record, you could understand them going with one up front here, but how many teams leave Old Trafford with a 0-0 draw? You're better off going for goals.

The fans will demand they give it a go as well and it might be that Darius Vassell comes in to the equation because his pace will be a welcome outlet when they are under pressure - which could well be for most of the game.

HOME WIN - I think this will be fairly comfortable for United. City have an awful record at Old Trafford and are struggling for goals away from home, even with that win at Aston Villa. If United get ahead early, I can see them controlling this and putting the pressure right on Chelsea before they play Arsenal. I'll go for 2-0.

Smith scores in Manchester reserve derby

Alan Smith scored the first goal of his comeback from his horrific leg injury as Manchester United beat City in the 'mini' reserve team derby at Ewen Fields.

Smith, who has been put on a personal fitness programme in an attempt to secure a first-team return, chipped home an instinctive 30-yard shot in the second-half after a poor Joe Hart clearance landed at his feet.

The effort completed a 2-0 win for the Red Devils, who will hope for a similar result against the same opposition in the Premiership at Old Trafford on Saturday.

There was even more good news for Sir Alex Ferguson as Korean midfielder Park Ji-sung completed the opening 45 minutes of his return from a three-month absence following ankle surgery.

Another first-team star, Kieran Richardson, opened the scoring for the hosts with a superb free-kick before the interval.
