SIR ALEX FERGUSON has told Louis Saha and Cristiano Ronaldo to
decide who takes Manchester United's next penalty.
Saha has netted two from the spot this season but was devastated
after missing in the 1-0 defeat at Celtic last week.
And Ronaldo, who scored in Portugal's World Cup shootout victory
over England, is ready to step into the Frenchman's shoes.
Sir Alex said: "I have left it between Louis and Cristiano to
decide.
"Sometimes if one is playing better than the other it is sensible
for the one who is playing really well to take it.
"But I have told Louis if he needs one for his hat-trick he should
take it."
Saha bounced back from his Champions League nightmare with an
outstanding goal against Chelsea yesterday.
And Ferguson is glad to have his leading striker back in the right
frame of mind.
The Scot added: "I am delighted for Louis it was a magnificent
finish.
"He was like a caged animal in training all week, taking penalty
after penalty, which just shows his eagerness to make up for the
one he missed the other night.
"He is 28 now and a fantastic asset to us. His movement, strength
and pace are vital to the way we are playing."
