Peter Schmeichel Without
a doubt, the greatest Man Utd Goalkeeper ever to don in Man Utd
colours.I just loved him. I loved the goal he scored against Dynamo
Kiev (i think)
Defenders
Paul Parker The best right back for Man Utd, imo. Hard tackling and
no nonsense defender which i think Gary Neville can never
emulate.
Denis Irwin Cherubic
Left Back that plays with grace who can delve in the attacking zone
as well as defending the posts.
Paul McGrath God damn
legendary defender. Really really tough tackler and damn impossible
to get through him in the 80s
Jaap Stam Though brief,
his stay is fruitful bearing the Treble of medals.
Midfielders
Norman Whiteside Under Ron
Atkinson, he is lethal in the air and could shoot with both power
and accuracy. He was also never afraid to try something different
or unexpected, making him a constant threat to opposing
defences.
Paul Ince The
Guv'nor! Before Cantona, it was Ince who captained Man Utd with
excellent leadership and wisdom
Ryan Giggs The icon
of Man Utd. His first and only club. Prolific during his heydays
though now can see slump ah
Eric Cantona Without a doubt,
Eric the King plays more of an attacking midfielder to assist the
forwards. At Leeds, Cantona was an idol, at Manchester United he was
a God. Fans worshipped him the like of which Old Trafford had not
seen or may ever see.Even to this day 3 years after his departure
fans still sing his name. No United player has ever had such a
relationship with his fans.
Forwards
Sir George Best RIP
Georgie. Arguably, the best winger/forward to ever don Man Utd
colours. He was the reason why Ryan Giggs start kicking the ball
and obviously, many more Man Utd stars..
Ruud Van Nistelrooy Even
though there may be some games he may not be performing, you cant
stop smiling when he breaks that streak. An opportunist and
prolific finisher and one of the top scoring Man Utd players, i
hope he doesnt leave
