I dont know where is the place..

yeekin SG

he told me about it a month ago when I got the alonso wdc car. Guess it would be harder to get there…

gp3 SG

so long never go there, just now go there saw the 1:8 Amalgam! So amazing!

gp3 SG

I dont even know where is the place...
I think he say that December they will move.

yeekin SG

its across the road from TRU at forum the shopping mall in the tanglin area. That building that jacky will be is quite famous for bridal shops. Once you see the bridal shops enter by the entrance near to rocky the pizza then go up the escalaters from there.

gp3 SG

The building got people or not? Mandarin Hotel so quiet one..

yeekin SG

now that is the funny part.... its about the same... except you don't see rich tai tais walking around, you see people trying out wedding dresses!

gp3 SG

Why they always choose places with no one? Should go Vivo city there mah!

yeekin SG

I can't comment on that but it has something to do with niche market and sale volume. Laughing
Anyway not the first time he has moved.
Lets see,
I remember he started out at Orchard 2/3rd floor where the present OG is.. was moved out due to that renovation.
Moved to funan for a very very short while, I remember seeing like 20+ boxes of hot wheels kimi first win at the window (which I still don't have to this day)
Mandarin from 2004 till now.
Any locations before that orchard one? I didn't collect diecasts before then so I wouldn't know.

gp3 SG

I dont even knew there was this shop until he moved to Funan!

And i still remember that last time Funan also has another model car shop infront of the escalator! Anyone recalls anything and knows any info about the shop?

Gallardofever SG

Jacky doesn’t need to move to Vivo City and I’m certain that no one here would like to see him move there. Its just shocking that people think Delfi Orchard is hard to find.

Jasonist SG

ah… so no more Mandarin Gallery ah? gosh if i go to sg this year end without this info sure i cant find the shop… thanks for the info!

Just hang around with us, and u will sure to get the latest info abt models Very Happy

gp3 SG

yes, i understand what you saying. Because his shop is for collectors only, if he moves to a place with lots of people, then they not collectors is like very weird..
And not that I think Delfi Orchard is hard to find! I never been there before, so don't know where is it!

Yeah, what happened to that shop har? I used to buy my model cars from this shop and remember that the "lau pan niang" of the shop is called Rosalind. Have they quit from this business?
