LH83 SG 1:18 models can range from $60 to $300+ depending on the brand and quality... the 1:12 models are quite ex... anywhere from $300 to $900... Ppl collect for different reasons... some collect cos they are nice to display.. others collect to sell later when they can make a profit... and some just collect cos they like the car and aren't able to buy the real thing...

HeXy SG 1/18 scale model, cheapest: $15, most expensive:$600+, talking abt retail price. 1/12 scale, cheapest: $100 (budget brands), most expensive: $5000, retail price. Those 1/18 in my collection are mostly kyoshos and autoarts, which range from ard $100-$200.. I accumlated my collection over 2 years plus, so its not that hiong for the wallet.
LH83 SG Heh... Well... $100 to $120 for Autoarts and Kyoshos are actually the normal prices... Guess its got to do with the workmanship quality and detailing involved... They're hand built and really built to scale... including the interiors and all... Some, like the CMC SLR, have real leather interiors, and mini door hydraulics, like the real car itself.. which unfortunately, raises the price... So... depending on the quality and detailing involved, the price can get rather steep... but I'd rather have a nice looking model than one that has plastic interior and a one piece engine bay... so pay a bit more and get a nicer looking model... Of course you've got to limit your spending... one model every one or two months should be manageable... hehe...
HeXy SG Not forgetting the 4 UT models i have. their retail price when they were new were just ard $30. they were considered budget models. Now that they are out of production, their prices shot up as demand remains.
