Then Chinese cannot call him Ye1 Su1? Koreans cannot call him Yasumin?

reminds me of a scene from Kingdom of Heaven, the Orlando Bloom flick

I really enjoy Edward Norton's performance..... seems to me he's the only one who embodied the characteristics of God in the movie.

Sometimes I wonder if in our effort to please God, we end up displeasing him with our petty definition of who God is.....

Micah 6:6-8
With what shall I come before the LORD and bow down before the exalted God? Shall I come before him with burnt offerings, with calves a year old?

Will the LORD be pleased with thousands of rams, with ten thousand rivers of oil? Shall I offer my firstborn for my transgression, the fruit of my body for the sin of my soul?

He has showed you, O man, what is good. And what does the LORD require of you? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God.

why did God inpire the apostles to write in Greek? Paul said the very words used in writing the Bible is from the Spirit. 1Co 2:13 And these are the things which we say, not in the language of man's wisdom, but in WORDS GIVEN TO US BY THE SPIRIT, judging the things of the spirit by the help of the Spirit. WHAT WORDS? WORDS IN GREEK GOD SPOKE IN BOTH HEBREW AND GREEK TOUNGUE. WHY EMPHASIZE HEBREW WHEN HE EQUALLY SPOKE THROUGH THE APOSTLES IN GREEK AND HEBREW LANGUAGE? WAS PAUL NOT INSPIRED BECAUSE HE WROTE IN GREEK?

oooooooooo...i like this

breytonhartge SG

errr.. then why did they find the gospel of matthew in hebrew???

Chin Eng SG

it has been said that the 4 gospels were for 4 target audience. Matthew was meant to be for the Jews.....

laoda99 SG

That does it!

Only Matthew is authentic becoz it is written in HEBREW!!!

Greek? BAHHHHHH.......must be counterfeit!

breytonhartge SG

and so that is uninspired according to our dear friend jamison... ?

breytonhartge SG

you gotta be kidding right???

it is plainly clear from the bible during the time when Yeshua was born and it was not in the middle of winter.

the date will be known when Yahweh wants it to be known.

breytonhartge SG

edited...

laoda99 SG

So the date is unknown....

and so now what?

When can the date be known so that we can commercialize it?

breytonhartge SG

up to you, let Yahweh tell you or convict you one way or another... shalom.

Chin Eng SG

did I say it is uninspired?????? Rolling Eyes

laoda99 SG

May Allah's Peace upon u!!!!!

Chin Eng SG

what's there to kid??? I did not say DIVINE indicator. I said indicator, I am even prepared to agree that the date is not even exact, but that's all we have. As far as evangelism is concern, that's a good time to bring people to God, surely you cannot deny that there are people coming to know God during these days?

commercialization? you think Jewish festivals are not commercialized?

laoda99 SG

Of coz not. We Jews practice the 613 laws sternly, how can we be commercialized?

breytonhartge SG

did I say you????? Rolling Eyes

breytonhartge SG
