Gums i never tried, but turned around and walked away when i saw
the price tag. haha
Well, no matter how much the government increases on cigarette
prices, majority of people are still reluctant to quit. They change
to cheaper brands of cigarettes, hand rolled tobaccos (making
Singaporeans look stupid & low class), worst still, they turn
to contraband, get caught in the end... leaving a scar on their
lives, just because of cigarettes...
Singapore has done alot to stop people from smoking, eg banning
cigarette commercials, having anti-smoking campaign etc. It has a
better statistics than other countries, at least, for lesser
smokers. But why must it do over the board, disconsidering the
small part of citizens, that really needs to puff?
Anyway, as for now, all i know is that smokers' rights in Singapore
have totally been side kicked..
