i still say, a poor workman blames his tools.
if the fella uses a china hammer and makes an A grade output,
then what?
people will look at the A grade output, not the china hammer
that knocked it into shape.
just ask yourself, do you honestly need all those megapixels in
the first place? do you blow your images big for an exhibition so
that people can look and comment about the noise?
if one can take a photo, what camera, doesn't really matter.
unless u tell me i gotta take sports shots and i'm working on a 1
fps camera. then i will say that my hit rate will decrease compared
to a 8fps camera
We are talking about DSLRs here. There is no relation to which
country the product comes from. Canon may be a japanese brand
but they do have camera equipments made in china.
And DSLRs really talks about megapixels and interchangable lens
for multi-purpose photography, regardless if you need the functions
or not. TS started this tread with Nikon DSLR. Can he reduce
the megapixels of Nikon DSLR even if he don't want it to
be too big since he might not need to blow up images for an
exhibition?
You might have gone abit out of topics to argue your preference
of photography.
if u REALLY take a photo, who cares? people look at the
output.
all I can say is, stop being so anal about sensors. photography
is simple, you people make it seem so complicated with all the
techno talk.
it is the very people who carry a D70s, look at the results of
the pros and they think "maybe if i get his equipment i can get his
results" which is quite rubbish. and THAT is a very bad
mentality.
Sorry but i think i'm gonna stop this endless and pointless
argument with someone who don't know photography at all.
Photography is simple to layman.
But if you learn deep, its the study of ISOs, Apertures, Shutter
Speed, White Balance, Exposures, Flash / Exposure Compensation,
Wide/Portrait/Tele Focal Length, Focal point, Focusing
Distance etc. that actually gives you good
pictures.
Maybe PNS is more suitable for you. Since you can just point and
shoot and hoping the sensors gives you nice effect in a boring
background without any adjustments. Photography then is simple.
