Why do Singapore CArs need HID lamps?

LazerLordz SG

real HIDs run on xenon.

The rest are just white halogen.

Actually, not many cars are factory fitted with HID lights… A lot of car owners changed their headlights to HID ones… But let me remind you guys, aftermarket HID lights are illegal.. Only factory fitted HID lights are legal.. For car owners who bought their cars from parallel importers, please go check if yours come with HID lights and if it is legal or not…

actually i am not a big fan of HID lights. my honda ody comes with prefitted HID but it fickles about 6 months into its life. when i went to get it fixed, i found out that i am not the only one with this problem. actually HID is a lot harder to maintain. dun think conversion from regular type to HID type is reconmended besides the point that it is illegal.

and for those who really hate it and always complain about HID, one solution for you, dun drive at night loh. Laughing
