There's a possibility of no european football the next
season....so these directors will come to realise that spending is
a must to stay at the pinnacle.
That can only happen after Jan transfer window which by then
more than half a season will be gone, and there will be not many
good players avaliable in mid-season as clubs only sell their
fringe players(unless the club is in deep financial problem).
Their main problem is defence, and that didn't just
happen recently, it was a problem since last season, and new
defence line need time to gel if gooners get in some new defenders
in Jan, therefore I believe it will be too little too late for the
season.
