I'm Real-ly
angry: Ronaldo was disappointed with the standard of
refereeing
Going over: The Real Madrid star was fouled on a
number of occasions
Cristiano Ronaldo faces a UEFA charge after accusing
Norwegian referee Svein Oddvar Moen of
jealousy.
The Real Madrid star claims that he was not give
sufficient protection during his side's 1-0 Champions League win
over Dinamo Zagreb.
The UEFA statistics showed the Ronaldo was fouled
four times and ended the game with a bloodstained ankle.
'It is always good to get off to a winning
start,' said Ronaldo, who was making his 500th senior career
appearance.
A bloody mess: Ronaldo was fuming with the
treatment he received in Real's win
'However, I hope we will not have a
repeat of this refereeing performance, it was
shameful.
'Some referees allow them to give me stick like
(the Dinamo players) did today. I think it's because I'm rich,
handsome and a great player. They envy me - there's no other
explanation.
'We are very happy with the three points we took,
but I'm not so satisfied with the refereeing. I hope we never have
this referee again.'
Karim Benzema agreed with Ronaldo and said:
'[Jerko] Leko deserved the red for all the fouls he committed
throughout the game.'
