I still stand by my beliefs that arsenal will not qualify for
top 4. they will not qualify for CL. for next season.
They may not even qualify for the CL this season as it stands...
Losing out in Italy is not an option for them this week... Cos
it would put a set back to their club income for the current
season by as much as $20 to $40m for next season...
Anyway, it's hard to blame Wenger alone for their current
problems... Cos for all we know, it could be the board who don't
want to spend money and he has no choice but to accept their
wishes...
Cos do not forget Arsenal do have debts of between
$150 to $250 million to the bank... And as individual directors,
why do you want to see money going out when you still have a debt
to re-pay... Those directors are more interested to received bigger
dividends each year rather than spend it on players and getting
a lesser pay-out.
I think if it wasn't part of the board's decision, they would
have sack him long ago... He is just taking the bullet for them for
now...
