guys, i don't know if anyone has discussed this topic before,
because i'm still relatively new to this forum. However, if anyone
knows about discussions going on within this forum, or even outside
this forum, please reply me with the link(s).
Recently, I realised that there has been numerous cases of external
influences in sports, especially soccer. I don't know what the
freak is happening! The world, especially the spectators are
ruining this classy game with events that disrupts the momentum and
smooth play of games, using laser pointers and what-have-you. There
are even allegations of corruption within FIFA! How could the
governing body of soccer allow such things to happen?
Match
fixing are also at a all time high (if i'm not wrong)! How can we,
being soccer lovers be able to enjoy this beautiful game without
some fools ruining it by premeditating the match and thus get
profits from it?
I mean,
what's the point? Why should we engage in such immature, and
possibly damaging acts on soccer players, who are people that we
mostly idolise? Back to lasers: Laser pointers could potentially
cause damage to player's eyes, and they definitely won't feel good
playing with so much external influences on them. I don't mean any
offense to anyone, but thought that since this sub-section of the
forum is to discuss the general game situation, I felt that it was
good to share, and maybe know what you all feel about it. I mean,
is it only me feeling this way, or is it felt by others in a
similar manner too?
