Schalke keeper Manuel Neuer raced out of his area to head the
ball clear, only for Stankovic to meet it with an incredible volley
and hand the Italians the lead after just 25
SECONDS.
But the wonder strike was overshadowed as the rampant Germans
netted FIVE away goals against the holders. Joel
Matip cancelled out Stankovic's early cracker and Edu did the same
after Diego Milito had put Inter 2-1 ahead.
After the break, Raul bagged his 70th Champions League strike,
while Andrea Ranocchia's own goal made it 4-2 to Schalke.
Inter defender Cristian Chivu then saw red for two bookings,
before Edu added a fantastic fifth in the 75th minute.
