Former Netherlands international midfielder Edgar
Davids has joined Championship side Crystal Palace on a
pay-as-you-play deal.
The 37-year-old had been without a club since leaving Ajax in
2008.
"It is an exciting time for me. I want to enjoy football and show
what I can do," Davids told the club website.
Davids' arrives after Palace confirmed that they are out of
administration - meaning that the club's transfer embargo has been
lifted.
"We spoke to Edgar earlier in the week," said Palace manager George
Burley.
"He has been training with Ajax but now it's good to see us agree
terms with him."
Davids, who has also had spells with AC Milan, Juventus, Barcelona,
Inter Milan and Tottenham, won 74 caps for the Netherlands.
