But the injury-jinxed England winger, 21, could be back in a
week.
Walcott was taken to a Swiss hospital for scans on his right
ankle, which he damaged in the build-up to Wayne Rooney's
10th-minute opener.
But X-rays showed no breaks and just bad bruising.
England boss Fabio Capello spoke to Walcott over the phone
moments after the 3-1 win.
The Italian said: "I just spoke with Theo. He tells me it's not
such a big problem. I said 'Two weeks?' He told me less."
Jermain Defoe was also carried off after England's second
goal.
The Spurs striker, who suffered an ankle injury in the second
half, will have a scan today but did not seem too badly hurt.
Capello said: "Defoe was a little thing."
