Manchester City are offering
Joleon Lescott around the Premier League on-loan.
The Daily Star Sunday says the England defender is
fighting to save his City career following the departure of the
manager who fought so hard to sign him from Everton – Mark
Hughes.
Sparky’s successor, Roberto
Mancini, clearly sees Lescott, 28, as a squad player
at best and the central defender, who can also operate at left
back, is not guaranteed to be in City’s 25-man Premier League
squad.
That has been underlined by the fact that clubs have been
offered Lescott on loan by agents.
Fulham, now managed by former
City boss Hughes, are likely to be interested in the
proposition.
