Argentina 0-4 Germany

Rooney9 SG

If Paul the octopus is right, germany will beat Argentina and progress to the semi finals. Argentina also wants revenge for the 2006 loss to Germany.

Will Germany be able to withstand Messi, Tevez, Higuain and co from scoring?

dragg SG

argentina are now the favourites to win the tournament.

lets start by beating germany. it wont be easy.

this will be the match of the tournament.

Rooney9 SG

ya Argentina should be the favourites but dun underestimate Germany. I hope Messi finally score his first goals of the tournament in this match.

u trust a blurr england sotong to predict a match outcome? how pathetic!

Argentina FTW! Tevez to score the winner goal at extra time, assisted by Messi.

n paul will landed up on the table as sashimi set.

Will Argentina individual skillful players be able to beat the Germany team tankie? This must be one dream match not to be missed. Anyway, I root for Argentina

hopefully Germany's inexperience will show.

I hope Argentine win the WC... Cos they started off as a no hopers but Maradona has changed all that ever since the WC started...

It's just amazing for a guy who hardly had a coaching experienced and all that he has gone through these last 10 to 15 yrs to do all this...

And one thing he changed with his squad selection is, he took more strikers and defenders into his squad with very few midfielders... Well, thats a difference... lol

Argentina will seek for avenge!!!

Singaporeshortstories SG

I think it will be Argentina who will lift the trophy, see this!

Little india bird predicted holland to win brasil already..so what's for abt the octopus..anything can happen.

1 thing to note-Argentina's defence is quite jialat withour walter Samuel.Dimichelis is quite a mistake prone player.Only heinze is dependable in argentina's defence.

Germans to win.

Hope Germany may shock them

Rooney9 SG

germany scored, from a fk, headed in by muller. argentina defence is sleeping.

Oh yeah! Trust in octopus!

Fcukpap SG

i still take Argentina....repeat what the Neds did in the 2nd half

stellazio SG

I still don't understand why Maxi Rodriguez is a starter, he's obviously past his prime and hasn't even been playing well for Liverpool, and was released by A Madrid..

fudgester SG

Great game so far, with both teams trying to go for the kill.

Germany seems to be dominating so far.

If Argentina can pull one back, that would please me to no end.... both teams would then be forced to hammer each other to death just like Holland vs Brazil yesterday.

stellazio SG

Maradonna must take out Maxi Rodriguez at Half time, totally invisible and useless..

mueller misses next match!
