SINGAPORE: There was double trouble for one drink driver on
Wednesday who attempted to bribe police officers after getting
caught.
At 12:20am, the 27-year-old man drove his car into a drain at a
carpark in Sembawang Park.
When police arrived, they made the driver do a breathalyser test,
as they found him unsteady and smelling of alcohol.
After failing the test, the driver attempted to bribe the police
officers with $100.
The officers placed the driver under arrest, and seized the $100
note as evidence.
He faces charges of drink driving and bribery. - CNA/yy
