grubber. whatever happened to FIFA's mission statement?
Not their fault, really, every business and organisation is
there to make money.
Take for example, you rent a shop from the landlord and instead
of paying 2 months' rent as deposit, you choose to pay 6 months'
rent in advance. Your landlord sense a huge carrot in front of him
and jack up the rent next month by almost 4 times the price you
originally paid. You're not happy yet you cant move away because
the deposit has been paid, leaving will mean forfeit of deposit and
you don't have enough cash to move elsewhere.
See the similarities?
Singtel, instead of paying the price that the English FA demands
to broadcast EPL, chose to flaunt its wealth by paying 4 times
more. To kill off Starhub's competition? Please la, don't have to
be so extreme right?
FIFA see such a big, fat and juicy carrot in front of it confirm
will chop carrot head right? 
I'm beginning to think that we have to resort to other means to
watch World Cup. Singtel and Starhub are just 2 greedy but stupid
companies who could share the pie together but instead, chose to
fight for bigger share and a fat pig (FIFA) came by and swallow the
whole pie.
