at one point of the match, barca had strung 400 plus passes
compared to inter's 50 odd; about 9 times more. And why did they
score only one goal?
Inter's defence was very, very organised. Their back 4 was
always coordinating the offside trap. Once thiago got sent
off, the inter players stuck to a certain zone each. And at
any one time when barca players advanced in the final third, there
would always be at least 2 people to close him down.
My bet is on mourinho to win his 2nd european cup with a
different club.
In contrast, when man u were a man down against bayern, the
players were running out of positions, seemingly lost on what to
do. Mourinho is truly a top class manager, the best there ever
was.
