hey short ninja, u've been banned huh? I tot ur nick was some silly clone lol. Yeh, the Japanese knew they would host the WC one day and they really got their act together. But since Nakata, there hasn't been a better player.

Yes, I got banned for making a lot of noise about those people who were unfairly banned but I am back now.One inch shorter but the sex life is still great as usual>LOL

before we sling more mud, perhaps the key is to understand what's the goal set by FAS each season? what they really want to achieve, the report card?

maybe unknown to all of us, ironically, they feel they already over-achieved... KNS..

If this goes on, surely the overseas team (Most probbaly Etholie FC) can outcast the local teams in S League.

But Singapore had played against Liverpool and Poland before. Should have learnt from these two friendly matches.

OT: Despite being crown for SEA games for many times for polo ball team, they do not manage to crown in Asian Games and Commenwealth Games.

So, if Sinagpore wants to improve everything (crown in Asian, Olympics, Commenwealth etc...), train more players from Singapore Sports School, train more and organise the similiar competition like: YOG, and Asian Youth Games.

Maybe all of the polys can conduct their PE lesson for at least 1 hour.

Feels like instead of working harder to achieve more the whole team of regulars became like a family and got comfortable. It needs to be reshuffled from time to time but where to find players when he pool of talent from the S-league is so small and resources have reached it limits?

Singapore team CMI, i knew it ages ago

palachan SG

I tok it was no surprise that many years ago, i & my ball game buddies actually beat a team who challenge us a game & it turn out to be the national team(as rumoured by a nearby uncle) after their training sessions.

I was suspicious of the Lions qualities ever since.....

To improve, send many local players to overseas for few years.

Be it 2nd division in middle east, or brazil or agentina or europe or japan or korea etc...bettre than playing in s league.

Only time a Singaporean almost played in the J-league was when the Nagoya Grampas was intesrested in the Lions's 2nd choice keeper back in the early 90s.That mama broke his wrist while fooling around just a weekend before he was supposed to go to Tokyo to sign a contract.

Yes send the entire team to play in any league (MUST be better than SEA countries). To play for a few years. Then you will see the results. Dont need the present coach to tell you do simple tasks.

Go now. Ask govt for funding.

Shorter ninja SG

Not that easy, nobody wants to go and also which league or soccer body with the right frame of mind would need a Singapore pariah team to boost their competition? You want garmen $$$ help ar ?They would say show me winning results first then come and talk.Frankly, if I was richer that Taksin also I wouldnt spend even 50 cents on this present team.Internaly,FAS has always been problematic and I dono why?

Rock^Star SG

remember goncalves? the converted sgporean who has gone back to brazil. He is a good quality striker in terms of asian standards, by right, spore football standards shd have improved but today's football is worse than fandi's era.

I miss those days of sundram, fandi and david lee shouting at his backline. Now we have thugs in noh alam shah and latiff. Only indra is the silver lining.

The present players is not near to fandi, sundram and the gang.

We move backwards while others move forwards.

I heard about this guy and only good things.I believe there are many places in the world besides Nigeria and China ( North Korea Morrocco,Chile,Mexico Ukraine,Ivory Coast,Jamaica.....etc)where talented poverty stricken children would give anything to get to live in Singapore.Get them as young as possible and if they dont make the cut when they grow up well at least they have earned a good education and would still lead a normal life contributing to Singapore in other ways.
