Forget about the romance of the FA cup nonsense, these days
clubs are more practical, as players have also become...
Cos of the increased big money on offer from the Premier
League and Champions League... And the bigger coverage from
television, The FA cup will also start to go the way of the league
cup...
The only way to bring the FA cup back into importance...
Increase the prize money by a great deal, I mean a real great deal.
From winner all the way to semi-finalist or perhaps even
quarter-finalist... But it's not feasible cos it doesn't generate
much income unlike the CL so can't pay out a lot.
It is bound to become a second rated competition... It started
10 yrs ago and it will only become less important as the years
go by...
for once, i agree with you boss
