Tan Jee Say announces 'Singaporeans First' party

SINGAPORE — Mr Tan Jee Say, former presidential candidate, has announced the formation of a new political party, Singaporeans First, which pledges to put "Singaporeans at the heart of the nation".

At a press conference today (May 25), Mr Tan announced the formation of the party and unveiled his 11-man team, which include ex-grassroot leaders, architects and former members of the Young PAP.

The 11 founding members of the party are:

"pledges to put Singaporeans at the heart of the nation" is pretty vague. good marketing pitch perhaps ....will be interesting to hear what they promise, their vision, and their plan.

Sure pro pappies don't like this. Majority of these post new political party will dilute votes .........

True blue citizens want the good for citizens. It is distasteful to overpay an anti citizens govt. Super high salary does not always equate paying for quality. PAP is one good example.
