Macheda isn't
necessary a great player. He has potential but he is still a long
way to becoming a top striker... Letting him go and experience
other league and get more play time is also a good way for his
football education... He may even improve his profile during his
loan move and command a better price should they decide to sell him
later... Is he better than Rossi? In my opinion, I don't think so
yet. He has good potential but god potential don't always work out.
But if they can get $4 or $5 million for a youth player, it still
represents a good deal.
On another note, United raise quite a lot of money from their
youth players every season or two... Fraizer Campbell,
Pique, Richardson, Rossi, Shawcross, Bardsley and that African
boy Manucho..lol.
And in the past... They also sold the likes of
McShane, Higginbotham, David Healy...
But so far they have refused to sell Jonathan Evans,
Fletcher and Gibson...
