Arsenal are believed to be considering a loan move for
Milan striker Klaas-Jan Huntelaar, according to the Daily
Mail.
The Gunners have been stifled with several forwards spending time
in the treatment room. And with the likes of Robin van Persie
unavailable for an extended period of time, manager Arsene Wenger
is thought to be considering a short-term loan stint for the former
Ajax star.
The Dutchman has had a largely ineffective stint at the San Siro,
and has in the past indicated that he may be willing to ply his
trade at greener pastures to boost his World Cup chances.
Netherlands boss Bert van Marwijk has also explained in the past
that the 26-year-old forward needs to play regularly if he is to
earn a place in the squad that will travel to South Africa next
year.
Huntelaar has also been linked with a move to Manchester
United.
