Hi
everyone, My name's Eddie. I'm new to Sgforums but I thought I
should share a personal experience with everyone here. I know it's
great to be fat and jolly, and enjoy all the beautiful food out
there. But also know about the loneliness, the hurt, the strain on
the feet and heart and lungs, etc..all the problems associated with
being fat, overweight and obese. It's no fun being mocked, shunned,
frustrated, irritated and discriminated. Yea, it's a slim world out
there, albeit with all the temptations to get you fat - the
milkshakes, the cha kway teow, ice cream, chocs, laksa, etc. But
just to give some of you guys and gals out there some hope. I've
managed to get rid of almost 30 pounds in less than 6 months,
without feeling starved, still enjoyed all my favourite foods
(albeit in lesser portions), without exercise, without all those
expensive treatments and feeling really great after getting rid of
all that excess baggage. It did take some discipline and some
adjustment, but I tell you, it was a great feeling to go down from
198 pounds to 170 pounds, from looking like the incredible hulk to
the incredible hunk (well almost!) I'm 1.70m and 43 years old and
thanks to all my efforts, I feel and look like I'm 36. So if I can
do it, you can too. Don't lose heart. Just do something about it.
It's worth a lot to your self esteem, energy levels and overall
health. P.S. I'm not promoting for the Ministry of Health ! Warmest
wishes to all and good luck. Eddie Ong
