Just had it done today... My opinion of it so far is... Not too
bad... quite ok.
It has a better function than Starhub's where I can retrieve all
the previous CL matches to watch. Picture wise, so far...
Sometimes, it's a little clearer than the channel 27... The quality
is more smooth compare to starhub's. But ch 27 might be
sharper where you can see the small wordings better... This
mio, though the football channel picture is smooth and clear but
smaller wordings are a little less
distinctive. But just finished watching the Man United
vs Wolfsburg and CSKA matches only...
And yes, I did came across some lagging which lasted
for a few seconds, like for 2 to 3 sec at
most... but all on other channels, the football matches are
ok. So far haven't came across any lag moments yet... but only
watched 2 matches lah...
Personally, I took it just for the football... So don't really
bother with the other channels... I still have my Starhub box to
catch the other programmes... One of the nice function i find from
this mio box is I can retrieve a match then fast forward to
the part I wish to watch or reverse it to watch it again...
And yeah, The program guild isn't as clearly or easily
understand like Starhub's... or even user friendly... The
start-up is also much slower than Starhub's as well... Other
than this... Not much more to add. Will give it a test run and see
how it goes when next week's CL comes around...
