Tottenham are planning to
move for unhappy Manchester
United goalkeeper Ben Foster.
The Sun says Spurs are lining up a £6million New Year
bid for England keeper Foster.
Tottenham boss
Harry Redknapp is in the market
for a new keeper after Carlo Cudicini was seriously injured in a
bike accident last week.
Foster fears he will not be in England's World Cup squad next
year unless he is playing regular first-team football in the
Premier League.
Foster, 26, was picked to start Saturday's 1-0 defeat by Brazil.
But he admitted: "It's very disheartening not even being on the
bench at United.
"I'm third choice for United yet playing for my country. It's a
weird one and I'll see what happens."
Foster is reluctant to give up on his United dream.
However, after four years on the Old Trafford books, he fears he
will never be Alex Ferguson's first choice.
