Fulham boss Roy Hodgson is
set to be offered the Great Britain coaching job for the 2012
Olympics.
The Daily Express says Hodgson, who is currently locked
in contract talks at Craven Cottage, is the man Olympic chiefs want
to coach their fledgling team at the Games in three years.
Informal approaches have been made to representatives of
Hodgson, 61. His stock has never been higher after leading
Fulham to seventh place in the
Premier League last season on a
minuscule budget and taking them into the Europa League, where they
are well placed to qualify for the last 32.
