Barcelona are ready to setup
a sensational swap deal for Manchester
City pair Vincent Kompany and Robinho.
The Sunday Mirror says City have made it clear both are
in Mark Hughes’s plans. Robinho
and Kompany will be available for selection in the next week
following injury lay-offs.
But Barca are aware the City boss is a big fan of midfielder
Yaya Toure – brother of Blues defender Kolo – and defender Carles
Puyol.
Puyol almost joined City in August, only for the deal to go cold
when Hughes landed Joleon Lescott from Everton for £24m.
Barca’s captain continues to stall on a new contract offer and
is likely to be sold in the next transfer window.
Toure has featured on Hughes’s hit-list in the past.
