David James
The Spurs boss wants a new keeper to boost his team's
hopes of breaking into the top four.
And he will move for his old Portsmouth keeper Jamo
after being told he has no chance of luring Blackburn's Paul
Robinson back to White Hart Lane.
The £1m fee could drop if Spurs' Italian stopper Carlo
Cudicini agrees to move the other way.
Pompey are rock bottom of the Premier League with just
three points.
James, 39, fears their position could affect his
chances of being England's No 1 keeper at the World Cup.
