Sunderland boss Steve Bruce
has confirmed he's handed trials to former Liverpool and Chelsea midfielder Bolo Zenden.
Zenden has been without a club since his release by Marseille at
the end of last season.
Bruce wants to strengthen his midfield and Zenden, who lifted
the Carling Cup with Middlesbrough, is an option if he impressed.
Bruce said: “Bolo has joined us for a while and will train at
the Academy for a few weeks as he looks for a new club. He clearly
has a first-class pedigree as a player so it’s great to have him
here.”
