Its a sad day for us subscribers... Somehow I feel that
all this was done to allow Singtel mio to squeezed more from
us...
Starhub has many other good channels that many have come to
like already and wouldn't change to mio even if they were
"given" the champions league rights...
And now that they have been "given" the Premier League as well,
fans has no other choice... Starhub is already established so there
will be many whose family members have got used to the other
channels and won't give up... So now have to subscript to both in
the end...
I just feel all these are a bunch of bull... Someone is
taking us for a ride here... Starhub and Singtel work hand in
hand to squeeze us... What bidding war? Starhub didn't even bother
to bid for the Uefa Champions League... They just gave it to
Singtel for free... more like wayang war to me... The last so
called winning bid from Starhub wasn't even made know to the
public after all these years to justify the increased... What is...
"said to be" or "rumoured to be"... bla.. bla.. bla...
$250 million sum just pluck out from the sky? They are
listed companies... so they should make it known to the public and
minor shareholders how much they spent /
paid for it.
I bet Singtel won't come clean as well and won't announce
officially how much they paid for it as well... More "said to
be" or "rumoured to be"... bla.. bla.. bla... sum is
more likely I guess...
